Sopphey Vance the poet... yarn artist... myth.. legend. |
Born Sarai Oviedo, he completed her undergraduate degree at
the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. In that
time, he pursued a writing career in two student publications. He
covered news as a writer for
Reporter for a year and aided in the design and editing for
Signatures Magazine for a year. Which later he continued as Managing Editor for
Signatures Magazine for two years.
Her undergraduate career inspired her to begin plans for a literary magazine. This lead to the development of
Enhance and the On Impression Network, a network of literary publications and websites that included:
The Composers’ Laboratory, Drunk Monkeys, Enhance, Five 2 One Magazine, Parody Poetry Journal, and
Salon de Madame Odalys.
Nowadays
Sopphey Vance spends time studying scripture and volunteering when he
can. When not attending to various gigs that pay the bills, he
crochets. Or sometimes he knits.
